Investment immigration to Australia has changed fundamentally: the Business Innovation and Investment Program (Subclass 188) stopped accepting new applications from 31 July 2024. The current investment–talent route is the National Innovation visa (Subclass 858).
Subclass 858 is a permanent visa for individuals with exceptional, internationally recognised talent — including entrepreneurs, investors and researchers. The visa is granted by invitation after submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI). M2W assesses profiles against this new framework.
