Washington, D.C., July 2026 — United States.
The U.S. Department of State has published the July 2026 Visa Bulletin. The EB-3 category for all countries except India, China and the Philippines (All Chargeability) advances to a priority date of August 1, 2024, about two months ahead of last month’s June 1, 2024 cutoff. Vietnam falls under this group.
Detailed EB-3 figures for July 2026
According to the Final Action Dates chart of the July 2026 Visa Bulletin, the EB-3 cutoffs are as follows: China December 22, 2021; India January 1, 2014; Philippines August 1, 2023 (unchanged); Mexico August 1, 2024; and all other countries — including Vietnam — at August 1, 2024.
USCIS also announced that employment-based adjustment of status applicants in July 2026 must continue to use the Final Action Dates chart, not the Dates for Filing chart. This is the third consecutive month this rule has applied since May 2026.
Implications for Vietnamese applicants
The All Chargeability cutoff advancing from June 1, 2024 to August 1, 2024 means that Vietnamese nationals with a priority date before August 1, 2024 become current this month, and may file or have their case processed for final action depending on their case status.
However, the Department of State continues to note that as immigrant visa demand rises again, cutoffs for certain groups such as the Philippines or China could retrogress in the final months of fiscal year 2026 to keep visa issuance within quota limits.
Tracking month by month
The Visa Bulletin is published monthly and can change from period to period. Those with an EB-3 case should check the latest month’s Visa Bulletin at travel.state.gov and the USCIS Adjustment of Status Filing Charts page for the current cutoff dates as well as which chart USCIS has selected for filing.
